Family Law Services - Training and Qualifications

I was a Family, Children’s and Immigration Lawyer before acquiring a Master of Social Work degree and becoming a Registered Social Worker. I have been trained in all aspects of Family Law professional services through:
  • The Family Court Clinic at CAMH
  • The Office of the Children’s Lawyer
  • The American Association of Family and Conciliation Courts
  • The ADR Institute of Ontario
  • The University of Toronto, School of Continuing Education
  • Riverdale Mediation

Practicalities

I see clients in person in my Guelph office. I developed a virtual practice during COVID, which I maintain. Online therapy is an option for clients who do not live in Guelph, or for those who prefer this platform.

My rates for Family Law services range from $250 to $300 per session. Payment is by retainer. Extended time spent on emails, texts and calls will be invoiced. I invoice quarterly and payment is by Interac.
Fees will be charged for missed sessions or sessions cancelled within 24 hours. These fees may be waived depending on the circumstances.
