I am an experienced therapist helping children, teens, young adults, adults, and their families. I empower adolescents to address personal challenges they are encountering with family, friends, school and identity issues. For young adults, I offer a safe haven to explore independence and autonomy issues, along with relationship and romantic concerns. I offer individual therapy to adults of all ages.
I am personable, easy to talk to and non judgmental. I am interested in learning about you and your life situation. We can talk together to identify issues and strategies, which will make a difference for you.

In addition to over 25 years in private practice with children and adults, I have worked on the outpatient and inpatient psychiatric units at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, and as a staff member of the former Stothers Center for Children in Etobicoke.
I trained in adult psychotherapy at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and The Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
Although I no longer offer play therapy as a modality, my previous work and Certified Play Therapist certification informs both my clinical and professional Family Law services.
I see clients in person in my Guelph office. I developed a virtual practice during COVID, which I maintain. Online therapy is an option for clients who do not live in Guelph, or for those who prefer this platform.
Fees for my therapy services are on a sliding scale, based on ability to pay.
My fees for therapy services are on a sliding scale, based on ability to pay. My rates range from $100 to 175 per session. I reserve spots for a select number of pro bono clients, or for young adults who need a very reduced fee. I invoice quarterly and payment is by Interac.
